Calling all beer lovers!
It’s that special time of year again, grab your friends, family, loved ones and a beer! Here’s to kicking off the weekend with an annual celebration of National Beer Lover’s Day.
Every September 7th, many gather to enjoy the variety of flavors, hops and breweries in Washington D.C.
The city alone has over a dozen famous breweries that are known for their good beers and inviting atmospheres.
Believe it or not, beer is a 5,000 years old beverage that's still bringing people together around the world today.
The first fermented beverages have been around for nearly 12,000 years and the fermenting process hasn’t changed since.
To learn more beer fun facts, schedule a beer tour right here in D.C. with City Brew Tours.
It’s a great way to explore your city and experience the taste of craft beers at some of your finest breweries around.
Our new neighbors at Red Bear Brewing Company are on the tour as well and we’re excited to see them. If you're in the D.C. area this fine weekend stop by their location that’s conveniently located next to the NoMa metro stop.
If you're not into beer, worry not, join your friends at Red Bear as they'll be hosting a Yoga and Beer session from 10:00 am -11:00 am (it’s always five o’clock somewhere!).
Lastly, don’t forget to check out Adam Morgan’s Day. This Sunday your favorite neighborhood festival will be happening all day with lots of food, beer, artist and music for all.
Happy National Beer Lover’s Day, however you may choose to spend it, and as always be sure to drink responsibly!
